Celebrate Apples

An Apple a Day

Boric Food Market apples are individually ‘hand picked’ making them the most crisp, flavoursome and delicious apples around. With 15 different varieties of apples grown in our orchard, there’s no storage of options for this fruit around here. A long standing favourite of ours, the ‘Granny Smith’ apple, originated in 1868 and is named after Maria Ann Smith who propagated apples from a chance seedling in her own backyard. Check out this delicious Apple Crisp recipe, from our very own ‘Maria Boric’, a 2nd generation Boric.
